THE CLASS

Afro-Contemporary KasheDantek is a system of philosophies in performance and outreach linking Caribbean and African Diasporic sensibilities. It is the root source for all KasheDance activities. This codified curriculum is employed to train company dancers and students, develop our choreographies, and guide audience and community engagements. KasheDanTek incorporates Afro-Caribbean and contemporary movements, music, philosophies, and training techniques.

ABOUT KEVIN

Award winning Dancer, Choreographer and Executive Artistic Director of KasheDance, Kevin centers culturally responsive art, space / place making & communities in his work. His research and creative practice exists in constant interrogation and navigation of Caribbean and African Diasporic dance / cultural practices; which feed his methodology of teaching, research, creation & presentation.
